What Zenify does to keep your information private and secure, in plain language.
Bank connections
Zenify never sees your bank login
When you connect a bank, you sign in inside Plaid, the service many finance apps use to connect to banks. Your bank username and password go to your bank through Plaid, never to Zenify.
Read-only
Zenify can look, never move money
Zenify only asks Plaid for your accounts, balances, and transactions. It has no ability to move, send, or withdraw money from your accounts.
Encryption
Encrypted on the way and when stored
Everything between your device and Zenify travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Your data is stored encrypted, and the keys that let Zenify refresh your bank data are encrypted again with Zenify's own key (AES-256). They stay on Zenify's servers and never reach your phone.
Private account
Only you can see your budget
Every account is walled off at the database level: your budget, transactions, and plans are only ever returned to you when you're signed in. Other people using Zenify can't see any of it.
On your phone
Locked when you step away
Unlock with Face ID (or a passkey on your computer). Zenify locks again after a few minutes away.
Your choice
No ads. Never sold.
Zenify doesn't show ads, doesn't sell or rent your information, and doesn't use tracking or advertising tools. Budgeting stays free; the optional Bank Sync plan is how Zenify is paid for.
Control
Disconnect, download, or delete anytime
Disconnect a bank whenever you like. Download a copy of your data from Account. Deleting your account disconnects your banks, cancels any plan, and permanently removes your data.
